2022 four-star Kyle Cuffe Jr is down to six schools

St. John’s: Cuffe would be a big get for St. Johns, a dynamic point guard that they could build the offense around. He would likely see a lot of minutes right away.

“I love the coach and the excitement he brings, my father also went here.”

Georgia: The Bulldogs are a tough team and have started to build an identity with new coach Tom Crean. Crean has done a great job with guards, most recently sending Anthony Edwards to the NBA.

“I love how coach Crean and Linehan develop their players.”

Kansas: Kansas has a great track record with developing guards, Cuffe has the opportunity to continue that tradition.

“It’s KU, they’re always top contenders for a national title.”

Kansas State: Kansas State likes their guards to get out and run; with Cuffe’s ability to attack the rim, the fit makes sense.

“They are constantly reaching out and calling me, Coach Weber and Coach Southwell really make me feel welcomed.”

Texas A&M: Buzz Williams is trying to rebuild the culture that he had at Virginia Tech. Cuffe would add instant offense in a league with a lot of good guards.

“My PSA brother Hassan Diarra goes there, it would be nice to play with him.”

Pitt: Last season was Jeff Capel’s first year at the helm. Capel was known for his recruiting at Duke, and Cuffe would be a big addition for Capel and his staff.

“Jeff Capel is a wonderful coach, and is really bringing Pitt back.”
